INDEPENDENT MP for Lyne Robert Oakeshott has encouraged written submissions from residents and organisations throughout the Lyne electorate as current political negotiations continue.
“I encourage all members of the community and all organisations in the electorate to engage in the process at this time,” Mr Oakeshott said.
“My only request is that it is done in writing, as our resources are completely stretched on the phones and on email, where we may not get to it as quickly.
“Thankfully, we have all of the ‘Community Survey’ cards that were recently circulated throughout the electorate and will be driving our agenda for the next three years.
“We thank everyone for participating and for their understanding at a challenging time,” Mr Oakeshott said.
Mr Oakeshott said letters could be sent to:
PO Box 330, Taree, 2430; or
PO Box 1112, Port Macquarie, 2444.

I love the story of your inter-racial marriage. Read your maiden speech - touching! How someone with your life story could have been in the Nationals in the first place stumps me. On yer for being your own man now. - Diet Simon, Sunshine Coast.
