WATSON TAYLOR TREK IS ON OFFER AS A FREE GUIDED BUSHWALK THIS WEEKEND

As part of the national program called the 'Great Australian Bushwalk', a local, free, guided tour will be available to anyone wishing to explore the natural beauty of North Brother Mountain and its surrounds, Independent MP for Port Macquarie Robert Oakeshott said today.

"There aren't many things more Australian than having a bushwalk, and this national program of events is a great way to encourage more people to get out and about and to 'go bush', Mr Oakeshott said.

"Over 120 guided free bushwalks are happening throughout Australia, and our local walk is at Watson Taylor Trek North Brother, bordering the Dooragan National Park, said Mr Oakeshott.

"I encourage interested in exploring our beautiful countryside, to go to website www.greataustralianbushwalk.org.au, or to ring Chris, Melissa, or Andrew on 9299 0000, for more information.
