MONTH OF EVENTS FOR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS
Small business owners and operators on the Mid North Coast have a great opportunity to build their knowledge and skills during Small Business September 2007, Port Macquarie MP Rob Oakeshott said today.
Mr Oakeshott said a range of events, seminars and workshops has been organised over the month, giving small business people the chance to update their knowledge and skills and extend their business networks.
"Mid North Coast small businesses are the backbone of the local economy," Mr Oakeshott said.
"Small Business September is an opportunity to acknowledge the many contributions our local small businesses provide to our economic and community wellbeing.
"Small Business September events cover a range of issues, from technology to marketing, leadership, business processes, growth management and international trade," he said.
Small Business September, organised by the NSW Government's Department of State and Regional Development, is supported by more than 100 partners from business, industry, professional and government organisations.
