Mid Coast Uni Portal
A one-stop online shop with loads of information for anyone wanting to enter tertiary study on the Mid-North Coast is the latest salvo in the campaign to boost education levels in our region. The Mid Coast Uni Portal was launched by our local Education and Skills Forum with the goal of helping an extra 500 students annually to enrol in university programs on the Mid-North Coast. Prospective students can quickly and easily gather information about courses, entry options, financial support, distance education and choices to study both within and outside our region through the portal. Most importantly, the site is supported by North Coast TAFE and six national universities, who have all committed to engaging directly with students in our region. These providers are also working closely with local government and the Education and Skills Forum on the establishment of a multi-partner university campus on the Mid-North Coast, which is being supported with a $20 million commitment secured in the agreements reached over the formation of government.
